Snapshots of a family 2018-2023. My first book. Self published. A reflection on time and family through the lens of the day-to-day of parenthood. From the artist statement introductory essay:

The moments were plentiful, for better or worse. First days of school, birthdays, global pandemics, second children, new homes, new jobs. Throughout it all I did my best to dutifully capture what I could, the milestones and the day-to-day. The breadth of this work slowly began to fully reveal itself around the time our second child was born in January 2021, as sort of a visual calendar. 

Infancy, and the dawn of childhood are a short time in the life of a family, the life of a child. These photos are meant to represent the exciting newness of the journey of childhood, but also that of parenthood. Though the work is highly personal in nature, the viewer is invited to contemplate their own childhood, parenthood and passage of time.
