On May 31, 2025 I presented ‘Summer Diary’, a one-day painting show featuring 92 paintings at Ruby Mountain in Mount Airy, Philadelphia.
The individual pieces in 'Summer Diary' each represent a calendar page of the three core summer months. These six-inch square works were displayed as a full-room installation, creating a visual scrapbook of the season. Featuring text and simple, bold images - people, cars, phones, flowers, houses - the goal of the work was to illustrate an inner monologue, a ledger of summer, meditations on technology, identity and loneliness, as well as a love letter to Philadelphia.
